Slow Slow Loris schaffen mit Stimme und Elektronik eine einnehmende Kollision von Melodie und Rauschen, Emotion und Industrie, Wüstnis und Akkuratesse. Nach ihrem Debutalbum „From Monster till Mourning“ (Staaltape) folgte im Mai 2017 das zweite Album „Of Heroes in Helium“.
In ihren epischen, packenden Live-Performances nutzen sie Gesang, Samples, unterschiedlichste Instrumente, Live-Looping und komplexe Effektketten, um das Melodische aus dem Rauschen zu verdrängen. Slow Slow Loris dringen in rohe emotionale Welten vor, um die Nuancen des Unterbewusstseins frei zu setzen...eine Mischung aus sensibler Tonalität und brachialer Noise.
ANY (Angela Nina Yeowell) arbeitet mit Volcals und Noise. In Kombination mit bearbeiteten Samples spielt sie gebrochene Melodien auf de- oder umkonstruierten Instrumenten. Die entstehenden Wellen komplettiert ihre kraftvolle Stimme, ob in Intensität oder Entschleunigung, Tristesse oder wütender Brillianz. Auf den Spuren des Unbewussten führt ihr Weg sie auch ins Visuelle, wie zur Entwicklung unmusikalischer Instrumente und klingender Kostüme.
G6PD (Robert Heim) formt Klangskulpturen mit unvorhersehbaren Resultaten, als würde er unterbewusst Emotionen malen. Mit einem non-konzeptuellen, experimentellen Zugang gebraucht und verbraucht er Sounds, zerstört Songstrukturen und bricht Stilistiken, während er schonungslos das Unerwartete kollagiert, was oft in düsteres elektro-akustisches Chaos ausartet.

Slow Slow Loris use voice and electronics to search for the intersections where melody meets noise, emotional meets avant-garde, feminine meets industrial, non-rhythm meets accuracy, and raw meets craft. Following up their debut album, From Monster till Mourning on Staaltape, they released their next album, Of Heroes in Helium in May 2017.

Her espionage of the sub-conscious can sometimes result in visuals, such as the creation of, and performance with non-musical instruments and sonic costumes.
G6PD (Robert Heim) shapes sculptures of sound with unpredictable outcomes, like subconsciously painting emotions. With a non-conceptual, experimental approach, he uses and abuses audio, destroys song structures and music styles, and collages unexpected tunes that often lead into a sonic weird deep electro-acoustic mess.
