Das KLANGzine (Nr. 8) lädt abermals zur Einreichung von Beiträgen ein – den Kopf voller popkultureller Zitate, das eine Ohr im Paralleluniversum, die schreibende Hand bereits im futurologischen Kongress. So ein partizipatives Heft macht sich nicht von allein! Die heurige Zahl hat sich hingelegt, rinnt aus, füllt das Becken – bis zum Mond? Unendlich dumm kann die eine Welt erscheinen, das Sinnlose und der Unsinn, Weinen vor Lachen und Weinen vor Schmerz – das KLANGzine versteht sich als erweiterter Ausstellungsraum und kollektives Echo auf die Frage, wie wir in dieser „stupid world“ weitermachen, denken und gestalten können.
Was?
Unter „This Stupid World – “ sucht das KLANGzine nach euren Beiträgen für die neue Ausgabe 2026 – alles vom Bild (Foto, Zeichnung, Grafik), über alles, was ein Text sein kann (literarisch, kreativ, wissenschaftlich, essayistisch), bis hin zu neuen Verknüpfungen (die wir noch gar nicht kennen?) – überrascht uns doch, wir versuchen, wie immer, alles, was möglich ist, zu drucken.

Veröffentlichung?
Release und Präsentation finden am KLANGfestival 2026 in Gallneukirchen im 10.-12. Juli 2026 statt.

This stupid world —
KLANGzine (No. 8) is once again inviting submissions – with a head full of pop culture references, one ear tuned into a parallel universe, and a writing hand already at a
futurological congress. A participatory magazine like this doesn’t write itself! This year’s issue has laid down, is flowing out, filling the basin – all the way to the moon? The world can seem infinitely stupid, the senseless and the nonsensical, crying with laughter and crying with pain – KLANGzine sees itself as an extended exhibition space and collective echo to the question of how we can continue,
think and shape our lives in this ‘stupid world’.
What?
Under the title “This Stupid World –”, KLANGzine is looking for your contributions to the upcoming 2026 edition – anything from images (photography, drawing, graphics) to all forms of text (literary, creative, academic, essayistic), and even entirely new connections (that we might not know yet?). Surprise us – as always, we’ll try to print everything that’s possible.

The non-profit cultural association Klangfolger supports innovative and experimental connections. Selected contributions will receive an expense allowance of €50, one contributor’s copy, and a festival pass.

The release and presentation will take place at KLANGfestival 2026 in Gallneukirchen, from July 10–12, 2026.
